jimmy u are me... i feel like i've wasted my uni life doing nothing fun, and while it's true that my field is competitive/my school was the exact opposite of a party school, i just wish i'd gotten out more

and ik ppl say the crazy party yrs/drinking/clubbing isn't worth it but i wanted to live that life anyway...grass is always greener on the other side etc i guess

i know what u mean, i wish i had gone out more and had a bit more fun. and also i wish i had travelled more. at the same time i dont like spending too much money and i always liked staying home so idek, it just sucks not having a lot of crazy stories/memories to look back on and generally leading such a boring life lol

well anons i've done better today. i actually got myself to do some cleaning and tidying up and even ate a whole meal. it's progress.

i'm looking into books to help with depression and anxiety. i really think my therapist messed up by making me feel like she doesn't want me to go back, like it would be a real disappointment that i didn't take her advice to seek cheaper counseling to get help more often. it really surprises me since she knows how difficult that would be for me with my social anxiety and she knows that's steeped in fear of rejection, how others might perceive me, that my self-esteem is in the gutter. it's like it didn't dawn on her pressuring me in such a way to make me feel like i will be a disappointment if i didn't do what she suggested and instead tried to keep our monthly sessions would press on that low self-esteem and fear of rejection and make me afraid to return. she hadn't made me feel like she would judge me before this. i can't think of finding another therapist rn. i can barely get myself to eat! i just wish things turned out differently with her. even though it was once a month, i at least knew i had someone to confide in and who was helpful.

if u were able to find and go to a therapist in the first place u can surely do it again
