if someone eats a lot and doesn't gain any weight doesn't it mean there's something wrong with their system too? i get the naturally skinny excuse because it does happens but the healthy skinny? nahh it might be convenient but definitely not healthy.
now the human body is weird i started dating my ex when we were 18 and he always ate like a legit cow and wouldn't exercise but he was fucking skinny! but when he turned 21 he suddenly startted gaining all the weight he never gained before lmao he got so fat and had to start dieting and working out, he looks fine now that he's 26 but that's after years of fighting with his weight and getting used to eating well and working out

i think it's not necessarily "unhealthly" but they obviously aren't the healthy/toned/fit type if they don't exercise but yes naturally skinny

metabolism slows down when you age and i've heard of cases like your ex too. tbh i think it might happen to me too in the next 5 years bc my sister said that it happened to her but then there's my mom who's been skinny her whole life (not toned/fit type but naturally just tiny and skinny). she doesn't have the best eating habits and was therefore never a good role model for what good eating should be bc she's never had to diet/look up what would make a healthy diet since she's always looked good
