Naruto attempts to explain the error in Sasuke's ways once more, claiming that Sasuke does not know anything about his brother or what he believed in. However, Sasuke does not take Naruto's words into account, and states that Naruto's death will be the beginning of the new clean slate he is determined to inflict on the world. With nothing else left to say, Sasuke and Naruto clash, with enough force to begin cracking Hashirama's statue.
