lol we're going to have to agree to disagree on this point. you're coming from this with a very "how dare she bites the hand that feeds" attitude but i think the burden is 100% on the people that hold the power to maintain their power. if a multibillion dollar company and their teams of lawyers can't think of smarter plays then to leak a few groupchat screenshots about a pie-in-the-sky bear hug and smugly wait for a resignation, then they deserve their huge L.

idk where you think i said it was a “biting the hand that feeds” situation when all i was talking about was MHJ selfishly using 5 girls for her vendetta against an evil conglomerate she voluntarily signed up with thinking they would be nice to her

yeah, i feel like wanting to walk with the product that you built is a pretty universal sentiment for the "labor" side. labor is in quotes for obvious reasons here lol but at it's core, this dispute is of labor and capital. mhj feels like the nwjns brand is intellectual property that arose from her labor while hybe just feels like nwjns is property based on their financial investment (capital).

you're throwing around this "selfish" term but only want to apply it to mhj and not to hybe. why is that? maybe it tugs at your heart strings a little to think of the nwjns brand as property since there are young girls that are involved in this that work as the face of that brand and you're not wrong there but that's another argument for a different day. both sides (mhj and hybe) are moving accordingly based on this underlying assumption that the brand is property. because that's the way business works under capitalism.

this is a labor dispute between hybe and mhj
