no one's watching anything. it takes two seconds to search "(group name) (song name) melon" on twitter, look at it, and move on with your day. if you want me to feel bad about my faves doing well, it's not going to happen. especially with all the bad faith hate they're getting

ppl focus on it way too much but its fun in the same way people on reddit follow the box office. itโ€™s interesting to track what people gravitate to, notice larger trends, see how said trends effect the stuff that comes out etc.

it is cancerous in kpop fandom though bc itโ€™s all anyone talks about
