this is a bit overdramatic. many professional athletes have made full recoveries from acl ruptures and have been able to resume playing competitively at the highest level.

now whether scoups/pledis has access to the kind of medical treatment that makes this level of recovery possible is another question

he's even already walking around without crutches so it seems like he might recover well given time, but the point is now he's ben exempted even if he does make a full recovery it will be a bad look if goes back to performing like nothing happened. but who knows maybe svt are now at a place in their careers where they dgaf about optics at all
