i'm 27 and i feel like we're in a similar place because we're both in college and both in basic desk jobs (the 22 year old), it's not like i have a real career (hence going back to school) so it's not that big of a deal for me personally. we're both guys btw

yeah i know i'm kinda pathetic, my other friends are buying houses :(

when you describe it like this i don't see the problem tbh. you're in similar places in life. it would obvi be different if you made alot more money/ were more established in your career bc there would be different power dynamics at play there. just my 2 cents anyway

anon you're not pathetic. the vast majority of people probably wouldn't bat an eye at that, honestly its only five years among adults who are in pretty similar positions in life
