there was an anon a couple days ago that said they managed to save up 50k or something while being poor so i think its still possible.

yah i worked part-time jobs and saved up ~20k before i quit to focus on school

yeah you gotta work your ass off tho whew. i have a shit job and i saved up to 8k in about a yr doing crazy overtime and always meeting goal so was always getting monthly bonuses. i ended up quitting my job tho bc it was literally driving me crazy. i was crying at work every week lol. now im gonna be spending those savings on rent, insurance and food until i can find another job. idk it takes a very strongwilled person and some time to work up to that amount of money in savings imo.
