my cousin works there but lives in a neighboring state (can't remember which one). it's crazy how dc isn't a state. i don't understand why. but our territories i think should be made states so they can have all the power and privilege states have. of what bits i know, racism played into why we don't give them many of the rights states have or given them statehood.
