i hate how my friend has influenced me into thinking i should be doing things her way basically, I'm not saying it's bad she's really smart about her money etc but i couldn't live as frugally and judgey as she is. i don't spend a ton of money on stuff but when i do it's gotten to the point I can't do it without thinking about what she would say/think :/

does she rly judge u when u spend money? tbh she sounds annoying, its ur money anyway. Like i am cheap af but i don't try to force my spending decisions and beliefs kn my friends....everyones different

yeah, she's very opinionated. but she's also 37 while I'm 24 and she's the old manager i used to have at my last job. she's nice and whatever but she's very judgey.

if you're thinking about what someone would think whenever you buy something and they aren't a parent or your life partner then there's a problem and they need to back up off ur shit honestly

she's really particular and honestly she has a few screws loose, but she's really nice and can be funny lol. but i can't help but feel like i want to distance myself from her because of the way she talks to people

da if she's being opinionated and judgmental than she isn't entirely nice. those aren't nice bahaviors. it's understandable to want some freedom from someone who is, consciously or not, manipulating you. it's her words that are making you question yourself. that's not good. having distance would be good. you need to be yourself and figure out what works for you while not having someone else's ideas and opinions take over.
