um no? the news just came out on first verdict it's still crazy to wrap my mind around
[TW] TAEIL admitted to all charges of special quasi-rape in his first trial.

The prosecution mentioned the facts of the indictment against Taeil and other two:

— “The defendants are friends with each other and happened to meet the victim at a bar in Itaewon around 2:33 AM on June 13th, where they drank together. Afterwards, they dragged the victim into a taxi and moved to the defendant's residence in Bangbae-dong. Then, from around 4:00 AM to 4:30 AM on the same day, they jointly raped the victim who was lying unconscious from being heavily intoxicated."

While admitting to the facts of the indictment, Taeil's side pleaded for leniency, stating:

— “We submitted a letter of surrender to the police, and after much difficulty, we reached a settlement with the victim, who is Chinese, and received a statement that they do not wish for punishment."

because the song as a standalone is so so so good and transcends "kpop" it's just a good song plain and simple. however, it didn't translate to me to want to know more about the group. belift marketed them kind of weird, like idk who their target is exactly. they seem like an awkward batch of girls not comfortable w/fame.
they should have just released a billion copycats of that song lol

their fans seem to be mostly young women from what i've noticed which makes sense to me. however yeah their music doesn't really match their debut. they seem to be an example of a group that a company just does the most for the first comeback then its whatever for the rest (musically) their videos do look expensive/cute

da they were created to be new jeans 2.0. right now, it seems like they are so terrified to be compared to new jeans that they are sort of "uglifying" their concepts and going kind of weird with it, which is not how they debuted. some of the imagery in little monsters reminded me of red velvet, but i don't think people who initially became fans of the group were looking for that.
