lol this is why i never read unfinished wips. that, and sometimes authors never finish them anyway.

also, i've noticed that it's mostly a younger audience who loves angst and hurt no comfort. older readers seem to just want the happy and the fluff -- probably because we know real life is shitty enough as it is.
