i used to think no one should make more than 100k annually (except for like healthcare professionals and world leaders) but these days i honestly think no one should be making more than 70k a year

idk i just automatically have a problem with using whimsical idealism to push people down in the name of equality rather than raising more people up and creating more leisure time so that art, education and philosophy can flourish. it's like thanos and the infinity stones. why not just make more???

obviously if everyone has that kind of income you'd have to adapt and make the cost of living lower

i went from making 40k to making 70k and nothing changed about how i live my life except that i went from never being able to pay off my school debt or own a home to MAYBE one day being able to do those things

im fine with universal income but i'd give nothing to world leaders lol
