i really hope you have a good experience because i LOVE mine, it’s been wonderful for me. for maybe just a year or two after, cramps did feel a little sharper? more piercing, like a knife rather than the usual dull, all over pain but overall, the whole experience of my period was better, the iud made the period light and fast. now, 4 years later, my periods are basically pain free, 2-3 days long, and so light, i could very nearly choose to freebleed on very thick cotton underwear if i really wanted to or use homemade rag pads. but who wants to do all that washing? the condomless intercourse benefits are convenient too, if that is your style. i love mine so much
