the receptionist for work was sf rude to me, i'm asian so i look pretty young for my age and i get that a lot and ppl are generally just surprised but this lady didn't even bother apologizing after being obviously very rude to me without a good reason

i checked in with one receptionist, stated my business, she signed me, gave me a proper identification tag, and pointed me in the direction to grab a folder i would i need. as i went to grab the folder this secondary receptionist stopped me mid-grab and all she said was "hold on" and gave me the stank eye so i told her what i was there for (very standard stuff so i figured she'd understand immediately and let me go do my job), gave her a smile, and went back to grab the folder but she stopped me again and paused so i'm staring blankly at her like what more do you want from me?
finally (she seemed to be a little out of it tbh, maybe it was too early for her idk) she asked if i signed in, i told her yup with a smile and as if she was challenging me she quickly responded with "how about a tag?" with a smirk, flashing the tag at her and still smiling i finally got the folder i had been trying to get but she still tries to stop me after i got it by saying "no, wait." so i had no choice but to stand there and ask "yes?" but she could not come up with anything else to question me about, still giving me a dirty look and frowning she finally backed off without saying anything

i understand her having to question me but the attitude was uncalled for and i can't believe she didn't even try to give me a "oh sorry then, go ahead" sort of thing at the end

my friend use to make fun of me for dating guys 1 or 2 years younger than me, but then she goes ahead and dates a guy 10 years older than herself with kids
