pls sis, yes college is expensive but if talking about living conditions and even have the chance to RECEIVE an education we are still miles better off than ppl in other countries. at least we should try to make the best of what we have bc other ppl would die to be in our place

i've been thinking about this for a few days

my dad was pretty abusive and we were isolated in a lot of ways, but my mom was really trying to be comforting and caring when i'd go to her for support. i'd go to her crying about being screamed at, hit, verbally abused, having fits of anger i couldn't control, etc, and she'd listen but ever do anything. over time she was the only person i had who was in the slightest on my side or comforting, but i was still in this terrible situation, so i developed a really bad attachment issue with her. i didn't want her to leave the room and shit
