sisters <3 i'm still in school because i kept switching majors/programs but hopefully this one sticks and leads to a job. all my close friends have graduated/moved to other places and it's so hard to make new friends now

well her parents aren't gonna do that cause they don't see her as a boy. people on tumblr have been saying that they should cover up the name and replace it w/ leelah but the site has been relocated so idt anyone knows where it is. i guess she couldn't stand the abuse from her parents and kept hating herself as a boy and so suicide was an escape :(

These all made me feel awful about myself, I was christian at the time so I thought that God hated me and that I didn't deserve to be alive. I cut myself at least once every couple days, and I was constantly thinking about suicide.

there are parents who are conservative and have never thought about their kids being queer and who take a long time to wrap their heads around it/accept it, and then there are the religious zealots who are actively against ever accepting it, i think her parents are the latter

yes but ppl react to this type of punishment in many different ways and i don't believe they ever intended to make her kill herself. in their eyes and in the eyes of most of the world (doesn't make it right) being lgbtq is a sin. at least they didn't beat her or kick her out. they cut off her internet and changed schools or made her go to a different school
