i like battle scenes and action, which is why im saying all that. ofc there's plenty of good anime but in recent years there hasn't been really tbh, i think anime storylines peaked in the 90s and early 2000s, since then it's all been downhill and the same hot garbage. solo leveling is like the good parts of shonen but without the annoyingness and the constant reminders that it's made for little kids by how stupid it is sometimes. it's like a shonen anime but for adults without the cringe and predictability
