my colleague who has a gen z son was telling me how these days parents are over diagnosing kids for adhd and autism and while mental health awareness is more prominent now compared to before, u start to wonder if these diagnosis are actually accurate and leads to more harm

depends on medication and stuff i suppose. tbh i think it's moreso that now we're realizing that normal/perfect doesn't really exist, whereas before only "extreme" cases were noticeable and ppl who had mild problems were whipped into shape and forced to mask and dissemble/melt into society's ideal of perfection

look up which songs are easiest (ssjyp has a subreddit and they have a really useful spreadsheet). it was overwhelming for me at first to play songs on hard, but now i can clear most of them except the very very difficult ones like some skz. practice normal mode until you can clear most songs with 3 stars, then move on to hard.

then it depends on what you're trying to achieve. if you wanna farm RP, playing on hard mode always nets more RP if you are able to clear the song regardless of getting 3 stars. watch the adds to double the RP. if you want to try to clear the monthly challenges, playing normal is probably better since it's easier to get super perfect and perfect on normal than on hard (unless you're really really good on hard).

for me it's much easier to play by laying my phone on a flat surface (usually with something underneath that prevents it from sliding around) and using my pointer fingers.
