yuta also seemed like he was having fun, although he doesn't show it as much

(Anonymous) 2021-11-07 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
how do cashiers and other low income earners survive over there?

(Anonymous) 2021-11-07 05:09 am (UTC)(link)
imma stop because you absolutely will not have me out here shilling for rampant, unchecked capitalism but you sound miserable, sis

(Anonymous) 2021-11-07 05:09 am (UTC)(link)
survive?

(Anonymous) 2021-11-07 05:10 am (UTC)(link)
it's a complete meme legend, both of jaehyun's parents are professors (dad teaches math? science? at university, mom teaches at a fashion/arts college)

he's mentioned these info in various fancalls if you wanna look up the source

it's ok to live an average life have you considered that? like why should a project manager make more than a cashier?

(Anonymous) 2021-11-07 05:11 am (UTC)(link)
grandfathered in. the impoverished in that area are being pushed out, but those who remain are usually generationally poor, so they have the benefit of the work their parents and grandparents did to carve out a niche

(Anonymous) 2021-11-07 05:12 am (UTC)(link)
but why should anyone save those who are objectively working tough and demanding jobs that are essential for the smooth functioning of society make more than 70k?

i will add that garbage people, trades people, and educators should also be payed more than 70k

(Anonymous) 2021-11-07 05:12 am (UTC)(link)
they're living with parents, have 4 roommates or are college students

(Anonymous) 2021-11-07 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
why shouldn't a cashier make as much as a project manager?

(Anonymous) 2021-11-07 05:14 am (UTC)(link)
just because it's the average income doesn't mean it's sustainable in most areas of california. you will live month to month on 70k

(Anonymous) 2021-11-07 05:14 am (UTC)(link)
that's johnny's mom not jaehyun's mama suh is ceo of a media marketing company stateside

idk i just automatically have a problem with using whimsical idealism to push people down in the name of equality rather than raising more people up and creating more leisure time so that art, education and philosophy can flourish. it's like thanos and the infinity stones. why not just make more???

you're likely dehydrated and/or have bad eating habits if you're craving that late

starvation diets don't stick, eat more regularly at fixed times and your cravings will lessen drastically

(Anonymous) 2021-11-07 05:17 am (UTC)(link)
news flash sis low income earners are barely surviving literally everywhere

(Anonymous) 2021-11-07 05:18 am (UTC)(link)
ok but so many ppl who have bullshit jobs make insane amounts of money. if you put a cap on how much people can make, less money circulating, drives down inflation and the cost of living

in that case i'd agree that minho doesn't have designs to go solo lol. he's also the one who you can tell has absolutely no interest in the music production side of things, but imho he really does enjoy performing/dancing. he seems like the type to go with the flow more than anything so i can see him renewing if only bc that's what is convenient. with jeongin i think tbh it's more a confidence issue atm.

then again skz have years left on their contracts, a lot can happen and they can change a lot in that time.

ok but certain work sectors are grossly overpaid despite providing little benefit to our collective wellbeing. salary caps prevent daytraders and investment bankers from making 6 figures despite doing fuck all

(Anonymous) 2021-11-07 05:22 am (UTC)(link)
chanyeol first

(Anonymous) 2021-11-07 05:23 am (UTC)(link)
i think you have the order of events wrong. cost of living especially housing needs to decrease first, decreasing the salaries of office workers won't matter when development companies are already building luxury apartments that nobody can afford that stay 50% vacant, they don't give a shit

(Anonymous) 2021-11-07 05:23 am (UTC)(link)
stop tryna get her back she ain't comin~ i will always remember the chipmunk version

(Anonymous) 2021-11-07 05:24 am (UTC)(link)
everyone should be on ubi

(Anonymous) 2021-11-07 05:25 am (UTC)(link)
agree

(Anonymous) 2021-11-07 05:28 am (UTC)(link)
the us and chinese housing markets are expected to crash any day now tho so i mean that'll drive the cost of homes/renting down. besides, if if developers, real estate agents, etc keep trying to rent their shit out with their inflated costs, they'll quickly realize no one can afford their homes and bring down their prices. it happened where i lived during the pandemic
